  • How do I know if my order has been successful?

    • Click on account, enter your email address then you will receive a code for verification. Once logged in, you will be able to see your previous orders. Click buy again on the order you need, then proceed to the checkout page where you must fill in your personal information and address then pay for the order.
  • How do I find products that are on special offer or promotion?
    • We have lots of products on offer. You'll find these throughout our website, identified with a strike through price and placed together under the 'Offers’ page.

  • What is the minimum order value that you deliver?
    • The minimum order value for home delivery is 8 KD.
  • What is the delivery charge?
    • Delivery is free for orders 20 KD and above.
    • Orders below 20 KD will be charged 1 KD for delivery.

  • When will I receive my order?
    • Orders will be delivered on the same day if it is placed before 1 pm. Orders will be delivered the next day if it is placed after 1 pm. Orders placed on the weekend will be delivered the next day.
  • Is it possible to schedule a specific delivery time?
    • We have 2 delivery slots you can select from:
      • Saturday – Thursday:
        • 11 am – 4 pm
        • 4 pm – 10 pm
      • Friday:
        • 11 am – 7 pm
      • What if my order is late?
        • Makani Foods drivers try their best to be as prompt as can be. Sometimes things are out of our control and can cause an unexpected delay. Delays also can happen due to a high volume of orders. However, you will be informed in advance if your delivery will be late, and you will receive your order in the fastest possible manner.         • If you have an item missing or damaged from your delivery, please call our customer service on 1809090.

    • Our vans are designed to ensure that your orders stay frozen from our warehouse to your doorstep.
  • Who can sign for a delivery?
    • Anyone in the household over the age of 18 and who can pay the order value may sign for deliveries.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    • Unfortunately, we currently do not deliver products internationally.

 

Returns & Exchanges

  • Can I exchange a product?
    • We don’t offer exchanges due to our products being perishable. Any product that leaves our stores and is later returned by a customer is considered unsellable, due to product safety. If you received a faulty product or a wrong item, kindly contact our customer service on 1809090.
    • The refund and exchange will be made at the same place of purchase and invoice issue.
    • If your overall invoice is below 20KD after a return is made, you will be charged 1KD for delivery.

  • How can I pay?
    • You can choose between 2 payment methods, either cash on delivery or through secure online payments using credit/debit cards. Accepted cards: KNET, VISA, Mastercard
    • Any catchweight items (items that have a variable weight and priced by KG) will only be paid through cash on delivery. This is to ensure that you only pay for the actual weight of the item you are receiving.
  • Do you store my card details?
    • We don’t store card information. We don’t view your card information because the transaction takes place between you and our financial institution through a secure payment gateway.
  • What should I do if I face problems on the payment page?
    • In the case any issues arise during your payment process please call our customer service on 1809090.

  • Is it necessary for me to sign up before I buy anything?
    • There is no need to sign up, you can order as a guest. Creating an account saves your previous order details and address information to ease your future orders.
