Exchange & Refund Policy

Makani Foods adheres to the Exchange & Refund Policy as per Kuwait Ministry of Commerce & Industry Law No. (39/2014), outlined as follows:

  1. Refunds or exchanges are processed within a maximum of 14 days from the purchase date, provided the original invoice is presented indicating the purchase date and value of the returned goods.
  2. All returned products must be in their original condition, unused by the consumer.
  3. Products will be replaced or refunded in case of manufacturing defects or violations of mandatory standard specifications, in accordance with the above-mentioned policy.
  4. Per the policy, products cannot be returned or exchanged under the following conditions:
    • Changes in nature, characteristics, packaging, or wrapping unless due to a manufacturing defect or violation of mandatory standard specifications.
    • Perishable consumer goods such as fresh foods, frozen foods, and baked goods are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  5. Refunds and exchanges will be processed at the original place of purchase as indicated on the invoice.
    • Store purchases may be returned at any Makani Foods store.
    • Home delivery purchases (online/telephone sales) may be returned at the time of delivery or by contacting customer service at 1809090.
  6. If the total invoice amount falls below 20 KD after a return, a 1 KD delivery charge will apply.
  7. Refunds will be issued in the same manner as the original payment method (cash or account debit).
